Nocturn Industries Talon night vision monocular
The Talon uses a reinforced composite housing to keep a full-featured monocular compact and light. A single tactile knob handles power, gain and the onboard IR illuminator, with an in-view indication when IR is active.
Controls and compatibility
Adjust image brightness through manual gain when a compatible MX-11769 tube is installed. The housing accepts EGAC and three-pad MX-11769 formats; an MX-10160 configuration does not provide manual gain. Standard PVS-14 J-arms and compatible optics fit the platform.
Configure the complete unit
Select the housing finish, lens system and intensifier option for the build. A CR123A battery cap is standard, with other cap formats available separately. The Talon image-tube pod shares its design with the Raptor binocular family.
The quoted 53-gram housing weight excludes the optics and intensifier. Complete-unit weight varies with the selected equipment. A helmet and mounting arm are separate unless the selected package states otherwise.
